Las Vegas tap water contains a high concentration of minerals, which makes the water supply in southern Nevada a "hard" water supply. Because of this, the water needs softening. Hard water occurs as the result of water that has percolated through deposits of limestone and chalk, which are mostly composed of magnesium and calcium carbonates. Hard water will leave deposits of calcium and lime on surfaces that can result in costly damages to your water heater and other appliances. Hard water not only causes mineral buildup on surfaces, it also makes it harder for soapy water to later.
Water heaters are awesome modern luxuries, but only when they're managed and maintained properly. If you want to get the most out of your Las Vegas water heater, you need superior plumbing services. At Vegas Plumbing Service, we make it easy to enjoy the benefits of readily available hot water. Water heaters come in many different shapes and sizes. The kind you select plays a huge role in your experience. For instance, yours may be operated via electrical energy, solar power or fossil fuels, such as natural gas.
These guys had someone enter my open garage and slap a sticker on my water heater. Their sticker covered the manufacturer info that I needed when I called my regular plumber to replace my leaking tank. The sticker could not be removed without tearing the necessary information underneath. I called the number on the sticker and they admitted that they had never provided any service at my address. Lesson learned - don't leave your garage door open when Vegas Plumbing Service trucks are in the neighborhood. What a sleazy way to try to steal service!
