Did a great job in installing HVAC and Solar. I went the whole 9 yards only to find out they were being sold to another competitor. I was told they would still honor what they did. Well they haven't. I hope this will change. If so I will change my rating but so far NOT impressed. My new air conditioner has been serviced three time. They said they have a history with them not working well. But before they can replace it they need to try 3 different items. they have done all 3 and still not working correct. I hope in the spring when I need it to work again I will be covered by warrantee. I also have had questions with Solar power system installed. They have told me they don't do solar any more.? That sucks and now how can I have it serviced? Ive been waiting for 3 weeks now to see the solution. So far nothing. Really disappointed. What started off as a great relationship has quickly gone south. Hope to see changes, not feeling I will!

I had Hartman installed my furnace and water heater 2 years ago. And here is why I'm giving them one star: 1. A few months ago I found out that the gas connector to the water heater was leaking gas. But what pissed me off was the connector was not even tightened up. I could even twisted it by my fingers. I called in and they did not even care how dangerous it was, what they cared about was the warranty has expired and I have to fix it by myself, not even an apology! 2. A month ago I found out that our furnace started have problems starting up. It is a two-year old furnace! I have one over ten years at another property and never had any problem! I called them and they sent the technician over. The technician was 2 hours late, and he could not find out what was wrong at first. Then he started blaming one wire harness adapter and started talking about furnace inner pressure and all kinds of turds and then told me that I should change my filter every THREE WEEKS. Yes, believe your eyes, not three months, THREE WEEKS. Finally he told me that the gas valve was the problem. The part will be covered by warranty but I will have to pay for the labor, about $300. I found out that I cannot fully trust these guys anymore at that point, so I called other company and checked my furnace out. They told me that there is nothing wrong with the wire harness adapter and they could not find anything wrong with the gas valve. I called Hartman a few weeks ago and told them I wanted to cancel the appointment that replace the gas valve, they said no problem but called me this morning and told me I need to pay for an restocking fee of the parts. At this point, I think it does not matter if the problem was the gas vale, I just found out that I cannot trust them and let them service my furnace anymore. Because the way that they mess up with the product they serve and how they charged me. I will NOT let them touch anything on anything of my properties and I will strongly recommend all of my friends to avoid them.
