Dammann's Garden Center is locally owned and operated. The owners and employees at Dammann's all work, live, and pay taxes in the Indianapolis area. Most of the money you spend here stays here. We think this is a good thing. Most hanging baskets, flowers, vegetables and planters you purchases here are cultivated and grown at our greenhouse facility on Rockville Road. And even though many of our trees and shrubs are brought in from out of state, they are American made (grown) and upgraded and cared for here in the State of Indiana.
Our west side greenhouse is full of beautiful plant material and pottery. You can shop this winter in comfort as you browse through the selection of succulents, cacti, houseplants, and hanging baskets. We also have a large selection of terra cotta and glazed pottery along with statuary, birdbaths, stepping stones, and windchimes. Valentine's Day is all about love, and if you love gardening, there's no better place to find the perfect Valentine's Day gifts than the garden center. Spring bulbs faithfully reappear at the most advantageous time - after a long, cold winter.
I visited Dammann's for the first time. They have a very nice selection of plants, including cacti and succulants. I bought five cacti and two bags of cactus soil.
All employees were extremely helpful and were happy to help me carry things both to the front and then to my car. They had so many beautiful plants to.
The selection and quality are great, you can always find something new, the shop cats are friendly just like the staff.
