In 1973, W.R. "Bill" Blalock and his father-in-law, J.R. "Red" Lynch formed a partnership and named their new company B & L Plumbing and Electric. They provided their customers with professional plumbing and electrical service and repair. The company was housed in a small block building located at 1131 East Commerce St in Lewisburg, TN. Bill's mother answered the phone, placed the work orders and processed the invoices. As the business grew, a need for more employees was required. That need was filled with the hiring of Carl King and Jessie Whaley in 1978 (both have now retired from the company with over thirty years of service).

At Blalock, our metal fabrication and custom design shop covers your needs whether it is a special one-off product or long production runs, Blalock has both the experience and resources to complete your project on time using quality processes and metals. Are you plagued with slow draining pipes or repetitive clogs? A video camera pipe inspection allows for a real-time visual inspection of underground sewer lines and other piping in order to determine the condition inside the pipe. This state-of-the art technology uses a flexible fiber optic cable with a high-resolution video camera on the tip that transmits images back to the camera operator who can make an informed diagnosis of any problems found. As the cable is inserted through the pipe, equipped with powerful lights it is able to record its findings, which can be saved to CD for a permanent record.
