Dyer's was founded in 1927 by John Dyer. It was originally an auto body shop and wrecker service (there wasn't much indoor plumbing around town at the time). It wasn't until the 1950's, when public water and sewer service began to be installed in town, that Dyer's entered the plumbing industry. Dyer's Inc now provides 24/7 Emergency Plumbing as well as plumbing contracting, farm and garden supplies, and swimming pool supplies.
