North Shore Mechanical Contractors (NSMC) provides design, installation and service of specialized plumbing, high purity water, process piping and wastewater treatment systems. We serve clients in Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire.

NSMC was founded in 1984 as a specialized plumbing and piping firm. NSMC's core founding values remain at the heart of the company today: to have the best labor force in the industry and a leadership position in our specialties. NSMC performs hundreds of large and small projects annually. We have worked with virtually every biotech company in Massachusetts, plus many of the region's major pharmaceutical, microelectronics & industrial process firms, major hospitals, and health care facilities, and educational facilities from independent K-12 schools to colleges & universities.

North Shore Mechanical Contractors works with companies and clients throughout the North Shore area to design and build their plumbing systems. There are two instances where we will often need to design new plumbing systems and install them for a client. The first is when an existing system is not up to the correct standards. It is very common for new businesses to move into a building and for the existing plumbing system to not meet their needs. In these cases, systems will either need to be improved with retrofitting solutions or replaced with a better system.

No plumbing system can go forever without needing routine maintenance. At North Shore Mechanical Contractors we work with a variety of clients, to provide timely, efficient, and affordable maintenance services. We provide maintenance to both plumbing systems that we design and build, as well as systems that are new to us. When it comes to maintenance, preventative maintenance is preferred over fixing an issue. The best way to protect your plumbing system is to have regular inspections and maintenance completed at your location.

NSMECH is an employee-owned company comprised of a team of expert plumbers that specialize in providing plumbing solutions for a variety of clients. We work across multiple industries and have a focus on specialized systems for wastewater treatment and high purity water. Because of this specialty, we often work with life science buildings, advanced technology facilities, and industrial locations. Although, we also apply our expert services to schools & hospitals. Issues with plumbing systems are not entirely uncommon. This is especially true for commercial and industrial buildings that have complex systems. The greater the complexity of a system and the workload that the system has to support, the more likely that wear and tear will lead to issues. At NSMECH we manage the plumbing systems for hundreds of clients throughout the North Shore. We design-build and install new state of the art systems, however, we also work on older systems. We always say if it has a pipe, we work on it.
