Skyline Windows is a New York based, family-owned window company that has been a leader in the industry for nearly one century. We are best known for designing, manufacturing and installing our own products. Skyline specializes in providing custom solutions that are individually tailored to our clients. Learn more about our story.
Quality, innovation and customer service have been the guiding principles of Skyline Windows since Sam Kraus founded it as a roofing and waterproofing business in 1921. In the 1950's, under the direction of Sam's son, David, Skyline entered the window replacement business, then a new and burgeoning industry. Eventually, Skyline began manufacturing its own window systems to meet specific market needs and to provide the quality demanded by customers. When third generation and current CEO Steven Kraus came to Skyline in the 1970s, he moved the company into new and broader product offerings.
Skyline's in-house engineering team designs windows to perform to your highest expectations. From ease of operation, insulation, and noise reduction to enhancing the beauty of your building and views, Skyline designs each window for maximum functionality. Every Skyline window is handcrafted by professionals who have developed an expertise in their area. Our windows are built in assembly line fashion by utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology to meet the specifications of each project.
