Datum Construction

Datum Construction is a locally owned corporation, specializing in Commercial General Contracting in Idaho and the surrounding areas. Our project history includes retail, churches, restaurants, recreational and sports facilities, medical facilities, manufacturing, storage unit facilities, steel buildings, & state, federal, and local government. Datum was founded by Keith Jones, who has built more than two million square feet of new construction and 500,000+ square feet of remodels, tenant improvements, and big box renovations.

This project consisted of a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) with a Nichiha wainscot and entrance feature. This project including the tenant improvements was completed on an amazing 3 month schedule from Notice to Proceed to closing! The project was completed without overtime or weekend hours. Many thought it wasn't possible, but we did it on time, and on budget!

Datum Construction's comprehensive pre-construction services thoroughly examine all aspects of the project to evaluate constructability, analyze cost and feasibility, and to devise appropriate building solutions to deliver the project in accordance to the client's intended goals. Conduct scope and trade bid review meetings and provide recommendations of subcontractor awards in each trade whose price, staffing and competence will yield the best results.

As construction manager and general contractor, Datum Construction's involvement begins from the earliest stages of design through to client occupancy. Datum's open-book management approach provides the client with comprehensive control over all aspects of the project, including budgeting and scheduling, while utilizing our management and team capabilities to supervise construction activities, control costs, achieve timely performance, manage material deliveries, and maintain quality production standards.
