The Blow-In Blanket system or the BIBS system is a proven, state-of-the-art insulation system utilizing specially manufactured fiberglass blowing wools installed in the walls, floors, attics, or ceilings behind a proprietary fabric. The system forms a seamless blanket of insulation that completely fills around pipes, wires, and other objects inside the cavity to maximize thermal efficiency and performance of the building envelope. Hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) molecules contain at least one carbon-carbon double bond that makes them highly reactive in the atmosphere, giving them a very short life - which is why they have such a small impact as a greenhouse gas. The global warming potential (GWP) of hydroflurocarbons (HFC) blowing agents was as high as 1,430, the GWP of the new HFO blowing agents is 1. You don't need to be a mathematician to know that's a pretty impressive improvement, and unlike its predecessors it doesn't solve one planetary emergency by exacerbating another.

While Insulation is used in the weatherization process, and weatherization is needed to do proper insulation, they are not the same thing. The focus of insulation is to reduce the conductive heat flow while weatherization primarily reduces convective heat flow.
