Mosquitoes thrive on the bottom of landscape plant leaves where it's cooler during warmer months. To kill the mosquitos, we apply long lasting insect controls, to your landscape plant leaves, where mosquitos rest. This will control them, till we come back for your next visit.
Aerating your lawn is a great way to reduce thatch, loosen up compacted soils, and make it easier for water and nutrients to reach the roots of your turf. In short: regular aeration of your lawn improves your soil and improves your lawn! Even with the best care available, lawns can thin out and lose color due to excessive thatch build-up, hard or compacted soils, or periods of high temperature, high humidity, or drought (sounds a lot like what we experience here every year). An aeration treatment removes small cores of soil and thatch to allow air, moisture and fertilizer to penetrate down to the root zone.
Your lawn program will include at least five feedings throughout the year, including a special "winterizing" feeding. We use fertilizers that are formulated for the specific needs of your lawn, at the time of application. 4 pre-emergence applications are performed annually, to prevent crabgrass and other grassy weeds. Grassy weeds are difficult and expensive to control, once they are up. A special "winterizing" feeding is made in late fall to carry the gains made this year into next spring. That's how great lawns are made.
