Old floors tend to have a character and warmth to them that just cannot be duplicated by the average line of wood flooring available today. Pine flooring was often milled to widths of 2 3/8" to 7"+. Plank floors have been seen in widths over 12! We also stock the very popular 2 1/4" Oak flooring as well as the more rare 2 1/2", 3" and random width oak floors. We have literally thousands of window sash. If you wish to find a replacement sash, please send a detailed description of the sash you are looking for and we will do our best to find a match. Old sash also make great decorations, mirrors, picture frames, greenhouses, etc.
There is no restraint to an exterior door with the exception of a good weather-resistant wood. We have come across exterior doors of all shapes and sizes. The modern thickness of an exterior door is 1 3/4" however we have seen early exterior doors that are as thin as 1 1/8" to turn of the century doors that are as much as 2 1/4" thick.
Stair rail was cut in many different styles over the years. If you are interested in matching some existing rail. The best thing to do is fax a tracing of the cross section of the rail to us @ 804-233-7109.

Our team has designed and built some beautiful pieces of furniture and architectural items entirely of reclaimed antique architectural salvage! Items that were recycled range from old columns to iron banding to floor joists. All of these items are one of a kind!

This glass contained "imperfections" due to the primitive methods used to create it. Now a days, the so called "imperfections" are very desirable and seem to tell a story of the times.
