We use only the best materials for your waterproofing needs. We first remove approximately a one foot section of floor around the leaking foundation wall. We then remove the dirt until we are approximately 6 inches below the top of the footing. A socked perforated drain pipe is then layed next to the footing and encased in gravel. The drain tile pipe is then connected to a sump pump and the floor is replaced back to it original view.
No amount of structural work on a foundation will overcome poor drainage. Surface water, whether from rain or watering, should not be allowed to accumulate around your home or under your foundation. Proper drainage may require re-contouring the existing grade, placing soil around the foundation, extending downspouts. The workers in charge of the project did nothing but great great work. the home needed major work and It took the company about ten days to get everything finished, which is impressive. due to them building a whole new basement wall.
