Purchased a condo and hired Sahara Air to determine why the heat pump kept turning on when in the off position. Tyler immediately determined there was a timer place on unit overriding the wall control. There was also a form of gererig wiring found, which affected efficiency and would potentially high cost electric bill.
Tyler was highly skilled, efficient, knowledgeable, patient, and thoroughly explains to laypersons options for replacement or continued service.

Our AC went out on a 108 degree day, and after calling around to probably 5 or 6 HVAC places, and the earliest anyone could come was the following afternoon, I eventually found Sahara and called their office. One of their techs, Robert I believe, was at my house in less than an hour. He found the lines frozen and said we'd have to let it thaw overnight because of how frozen it was, and someone would come back the following day to diagnose and fix the problem. We got a hotel for the night, and the next day Lucio came out and within 15 minutes determined and fixed the issue. We were only charged for the first visit and the part that needed to be replaced (at a very reasonable price too). There was no additional charge for them having to come out twice, and the cost of labor for the repair is built into the cost of the part, so there is no hourly rate for labor which can often add up quickly. All in all, our entire issue was fixed in 24 hours flat at a price that my wife and I were surprised by (in a good way, we were expecting several hundred dollars at least, it was about a third of what we were expecting). Can't say enough good things about these guys, and I'll be signing up for their annual maintenance plan from now on because they were so helpful (which, by the way, I asked about myself - the tech wasn't salesy or pushy about it at all, another bonus point for this company). Anytime I have an HVAC issue as long as I live in Vegas, this will be the company I call.

I called Sahara Air Conditioning & Heating to schedule an appointment for my air conditioner after noticing a water spot on my ceiling following heavy rain. I wanted to rule out a leak from the air conditioner. Lucio arrived on time and was very professional and respectful of my home. After inspecting the attic, he confirmed that the air conditioner was not the source of the leak but did notice signs of water infiltration. He offered to check the roof for any visible leaks, and I agreed. Lucio climbed onto the roof without hesitation and thoroughly inspected it. He even drenched the roof with water to try and replicate the leak but was unable to determine the source. He recommended that I contact a roofing company next. I highly recommend Sahara Air Conditioning & Heating. Lucio went above and beyond, and I appreciated his thoroughness, patience, and kindness, especially since I asked a lot of questions! I will definitely call them again for any air conditioning needs.

I had been without a working AC unit for almost three weeks when I called Sahara Air Conditioning. I reached their answering service and left a message requesting a call back. About an hour later, Michelle called me and scheduled an appointment for a technician to visit between 12-5pm the next day. I want to thank Michelle for arranging help so quickly. The next day, Jesse arrived before noon, inspected my AC unit, and arranged financing for a new unit to be installed the following morning. I am extremely grateful to both Michelle and Jesse for their prompt response and effective solution.
