Throughout the development process, the value of accurate and thorough land survey services is almost immeasurable. In the early stages of planning and design, decisions are made on the basis of the facts at hand. The quality of this data has an immense bearing on design solutions to be developed and on the eventual cost of implementation. Investing in a good record of existing conditions can provide a client and their development team substantial confidence in their ideas, project schedule and cost management strategies.
Civil Engineering is LRC's core service discipline and is expressed by the wide diversity of roles we play in the design and development process.
The Summit at Bethel is a luxury townhome community that sits high on a rocky hillside, affording many units with commanding views in to the surrounding country side. LRC assisted Toll Brothers, Inc. with a series of landscape improvement projects, beginning with the entry to the development - an arrival through a dramatic rock cut several hundred feet below the residential area. In addition to design of landscape plans for planting of the entrance area, we developed plans and details for fencing, stone walls and piers, specialty pavement patterns and signage.
The Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) project is planned to upgrade the pipeline capacity in the Northeast. LRC's roll in this project is to provide survey support for the design, permitting and construction of several meter stations and compression stations in the project area. To date existing conditions surveys were prepared on five (5) compression stations and twenty-six (26) meter stations. LRC was responsible for managing and preparation of an 445 acre property survey of the Mattatuck State Forest in Litchfield, Connecticut.
Happy holidays to everyone. Thanks to the crew for a great holiday party. And a great hockey game.
LRC's latest residential project starting to take form. Can't wait to see it completed.
