Master stone workers at Swan Builders International are skilled in many techniques. They work equally well with raw and block stone, with mortar lines and with dry-stacked designs. But for many projects, artisan-crafted stone can be more affordable, often is faster to complete, and can achieve specific looks we can customize to suit many designs. Many of our artificial stone works are virtually indistinguishable from natural stones, thanks to masterful stone artists. Few people appreciate natural stone more than they do, and they study it in detail throughout their careers.
Natural streams are abundant in parts of the islands, and they can pose challenges: times of low- or no-flow, then flooding, pollution from upstream, even changing course without regard for gardens and houses. On the other hand, custom water features can be designed for reliability and simplified maintenance, and to include the features you want in a way that works well in the intended location. A man-made water feature recirculates its water. A container or liner prevents the water from seeping away.
