One question we get more than any other is how air conditioning and heating systems will impact the indoor air quality of our Tacoma, WA area customers' homes. More often than not, the addition of heating and cooling systems to a home will have very little direct impact on the presence of pollutants and debris in the air, but with the right additions, we can help you reduce those unwanted particles. The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) says that the minimum ventilation rate for homes is 62.2.
In the heat of the summer, when your air conditioning unit is pushed to its limits, you want to be sure it will hold up and that you and your family will remain comfortable. Sound Heating & Air Conditioning recognizes just how important your air conditioning units are and strives to provide top quality service and competitive prices in the Tacoma, WA area HVAC market. Did you know that trees can save you money? If you plant more trees on your property, the shade provided by the trees will make your home feel cooler in the warmer months.
In the middle of the winter, when the air is bone-bitingly cold, the last thing you want is a heating system that can't get the job done. That's why heating is one of the most important aspects of any Tacoma, WA area home comfort system. It doesn't just keep you comfortable, it keeps you safe. At the same time, however, you want your heating system to be as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible to keep your bills down and your home warm. At Sound Heating, our goal is to keep your home warm and comfortable year-round without the added worry of broken components or high bills.
Some people always ask why they should use solar power? One of the most powerful and under-utilized resources we have access to today is solar power. The sun puts out an enormous amount of energy every day and if we can make use of it, we can enjoy an unending supply of cheap and efficient power. Of course, in order to utilize that power you need to have the proper equipment and that can cost money. But the amount that you can save will far outweigh the initial installation costs over the long term.
They went out of their way to service our heating service. Highly recommend
Heating system was installed in 2016. I cannot heat the downstairs to 70 degrees. if I want the main floor to be 68 degrees, it means the upstairs.
Would not recommend this company. Over priced and poor service. See previous post.

To our customers, employees and our community. We at Sound Heating and Air Conditioning are (as I am sure you are) disgusted by the recent brutality and needless death caused by a police officer in Minneapolis Minnesota.
