The subterranean termites we experience here in Coastal Virginia are known to be as active as any of the other termites experienced along the coastal southern states. Termite pressure in the coastal Virginia area is very heavy as compared to other areas of the country making our Tidewater, Hampton Roads, and Southside Virginia homes at high risk for termite activity/damage. 90% of termite inspections are "Visual". Inspectors are looking for clues and signs of possible termite activity. Some signs of activity may be termite mud shelter tubes, termite stains, insect wings or body parts, bubbling paint, bubbling sheetrock, dirt specs on walls, hollow baseboard trim and or moldings.

Although having any pest get into your home or business is an unpleasant experience, rodents can be particularly problematic. Getting rid of a rodent infestation is hard to do and can be dangerous if you attempt it yourself. However, ignoring the problem is not an option. When rodents get into your house, they'll spread harmful pathogens all over surfaces, including ones you use to prepare food. They'll bring parasites inside that can cause other illnesses. Many people consider bed bugs pests that only infest filthy homes and businesses, but that is not the case. Bed bugs can get into any house or commercial facility in Tidewater, Hampton Roads, and Southside Virginia, no matter how clean or dirty. Once inside, they can be extremely difficult to get rid of without professional bed bug exterminators. Although they aren't considered dangerous, bed bugs are not a pest you want in your house. They bite and can cause a lot of unnecessary stress for you as you try to eliminate them.
