Patio roofs commonly last 8 - 12 years depending on the original material and sun exposure so replacing your patio roof before your shingle or tile roof is normal. We are one of a handful of companies that installs the modified bitumen using the torchdown process as it is more cosmetically appealing and longer lasting than the cold process of Peel N Stick. Also as an extra reassurance, our liability insurance covers the torchdown process. We are certified applicators for Polyglass which means we have the knowledge and experience to install this type of roof as certified by the manufacturer allowing us to warranty labor and materials for 12 years.

Standard concrete tile roofs are a popular roof type here in sunny Arizona. Tiles themselves can last as long as 50 years, but it is the underlayment that wears out and needs to be replaced every 18-22 years. If your roof is in this age range and it starts to leak, it may not be cost effective to repair as it may need to be replaced within months. When in doubt, call Chris Harper to come out to inspect. Since he is a roofer, he will give his honest opinion rather than try to sell you on what you don't need.

Re-shingling a home can be overwhelming but we try to make it as painless as possible. With Harper's Roofing, Inc. the crew members are direct employees of Harper's Roofing and are not sub-contractors so when we re-roof a home, we do not stop until we are done. Re-roofs will typically take 2 to 4 days depending on the size and style of roof. Many homeowners compliment us on the clean up and how quickly the roof is done.

Leak repairs are our specialty. Some companies will automatically bid to re-roof half the roof or even the entire roof rather than just the area needing repaired. We are confident in our leak repairs so we don't have to bid to re-roof half of the house in order to fix a small leak. We warranty the leak repair for 2 years, however, if after the warranty has expired and the same area is continuing to leak, we will repair the same area if we feel that it is the fault of the original labor and installation.
