We are a second-generation family business, and our family values shine through in everything we do. Owner John Francis is a native and lifelong resident of our area, who says, "We haven't lived up to our expectations until we've exceeded yours!" We know how important it is that the exterior "envelope" of your home or business protects the people and property inside. That's why we go to great lengths to ensure that your roof, siding, windows, doors and gutters are constructed of the finest, most durable materials, and installed professionally.
Your roof is one of the most important parts of your home. So when it develops a leak, or the shingles begin to deteriorate and it needs some repair, you don't want to trust the job to just anyone. And while there are a lot of roofing contractors out there, not all of them are going to be right for the job. Learn some of the tricks for choosing a roofing contractor for your roof repair project to get the best person you can find. Getting a local roofer with community ties is invaluable. A local roofer will also be likely to want to protect and enhance the reputation of his company, so you'll probably find that he'll want to help you out if there's a problem, and won't leave you hanging with the project unfinished.
When it's time to get a new roof installed, you may have a lot of questions for your roofer. You may be unsure of how long it will take, or what will happen if they uncover more damage than was first seen. Thankfully, by becoming more informed about the roof installation process, you can relax and know that your roof is in good hands. Cost to have roofing replaced varies greatly by region, material type, tear off costs and many other factors. From the time that you call to schedule your roof installation, to the time that the job is done is roughly 1 to 14 days depending on factors such as the size of the job and the type of shingles needed.
If your roof needs some repair or a replacement, the contractor or roofing company that you hire can have a big impact on how the final job comes out. After all, your roof is one of the most important parts of your home, so you don't want to trust it to just anyone. Learn the top five things every Fairfax, VA homeowner should know about hiring a roofing company so you can make the best decision possible for your home. It's important to know that your contractor is licensed. This means that your contractor can be held accountable in the case of problems, and that your contractor or roofing company is unlikely to do a poor job, mislead you about warranties, or leave you with a lien on your home due to unpaid subcontractors or suppliers.
Gutter guard is the name usually given to any type of gutter protection system. Their job is to keep out things like falling leaves and debris that could get trapped in your gutters causing a clog. Because clogged gutters can lead to rotting fascia and soffits, as well as to damage on the gutters themselves, many homeowners are beginning to look into gutter guards as a method of protecting them. There are numerous types and styles of gutter guard on the market today. Some are decorative in nature, others are strictly utilitarian.
Generally we like our work to speak for itself. But it is also nice to be recognized by your peers. NV Roofing and Exteriors is a 21 time winner of GAF's National Roofing Contractor Award, the only company in the Mid-Atlantic region to have earned such a prestigious distinction. Yet our real reward still comes from doing our best work for our neighbors in Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.
NV Roofing is dedicated to providing our customers with the highest value on every job, whether a small repair or large project. NV Roofing Company, Inc. (NVR) is dedicated to providing its customers with the highest value on every job, for the very first phone call received in the office to the completion of the project whether a small residential repair or a large commercial job. Providing the best available materials installed by highly skilled, accomplished and motivated craftsmen who place greater emphasis on pride in workmanship than production.
If you're in the market for a new roof, you've no doubt stumbled across advertisements that say "50% off!" or "Zero dollars down!" Almost every roofer advertises in this way because it's effective. But it can be somewhat misleading. Claims like these can make you unsure of what to believe. One important thing to keep in mind when looking at prices for a new roof is that you get what you pay for. At the end of the day, roofing materials cost money, and the labor to install them costs money. While prices will vary somewhat based on a number of factors, all will reflect the cost of materials and labor.
I do not usually do reviews of companies but I am today because of the lack of customer service from Northern Virginia Roofing. We had them replace our roof because of hail damage. We were happy with the service we received up until the work caused damage after the new roof. We had to call to have them come out to fix a leak in our sons bathroom that was not even there until roof was replaced. Fast forward a few months, we got more rains for consecutive days and I noticed that we might have an issue (same one from our initial reason of hail damage) so I contacted them online. Waited and got an email which I responded to and did not get a response back until I called the person to find out when the guys would be coming out. Still no answer and I have since called again two people, left voicemails, and a text with no reply back. Now tomorrow we are supposed to have high winds and rain which will keep them from coming out. It has been almost a week! All this to say is that we are very dissatisfied with the level of customer service!
First experience on my home was very positive that keeps this review from being a "one". Used same contact, Dan, and recommended him and the company to other family and friends. Dan now has become unresponsive, and contact supervisor Deryl resulted in no communication from her either. Given this very poor customer service, I would no longer recommend them. Unfortunate, several homes could have been sales for NVR.
To all: A person named Brandon Fox claimed working at NV Roofing posted racist comments. I am the President of NV Roofing and I have no idea who Brandon Fox is. He has never been on our payroll nor has he ever been employed by NV Roofing. NV Roofing would never support or employ any employee with racist views. We are in the process of working with Facebook to remove this reference to our company. We are embarrassed that this situation exists and apologize to anyone that may have been offended.
