Summit Cabinet Coatings is family-owned and operated, serving the areas of northern Colorado. We specialize in refinishing cabinets in a timely manner while still providing great value. Locally based, Jim and Jen Worden interact with customers directly and oversee every step of the process. Together they offer over 13 years of experience in the construction industry, seven years specializing in cosmetic repair such as refinishing cabinets in homes, and 5 years experience in customer service and retail management.
Locally based, Jim and Jen Worden have been serving the Northern Colorado area in cabinet resurfacing and cabinet refacing since 2010. In the beginning they wore every hat in the operation. They taped off kitchens together, Jen did preparation work on the doors back at the shop and ran to estimates while Jim sprayed the cabinet frames on-site during the day and then sprayed the cabinet doors in the shop at night, and then they would return to install the doors together. They are exceedingly thankful to now have an amazing team consisting of 10 technicians, an office manager and a sales manager.
With our non-intrusive kitchen cabinet refinishing method, kitchens remain clean and usable throughout the week. We only spend two to three days in the home, and the rest of the process is completed off site in our shop. This allows home owners and tenants to enjoy normal life while their kitchens undergo a vast transformation. ON-SITE: During the process, we spend two to three days in your kitchen coating the cabinet frames. We begin by removing the existing cabinet doors and drawers from the cabinet frames and taping off the entire kitchen.
The solid color finish is the simplest finish. It produces a fresh, modern look that can anchor a kitchen with a complex countertop, backsplash, or floor. For kitchens that have natural wood cabinets, as opposed to medium density fiber (MDF), rigid thermafoil (RTF), or another material, most of our clients like to see a little of the original wood grain texture, but we can also fill the grain so it is totally smooth. It is also known as a "rub" or "wash." To produce this effect, our artisan hand-rubs the glaze into the wood's natural grain after the cabinets are coated, or he produces a faux wood effect if there is no grain.
Fantastic experience with Summit Cabinet Coatings! They resurfaced our large kitchen and did an amazing job. The entire process was excellent from start to finish. Could not have asked for better communication and the project went as expected without any issues or delays. Meticulous work and great attention to detail resulted in an awesome new kitchen that we LOVE! Highly recommend Jenn and Jim if you are looking to transform your kitchen.
Top notch from beginning to end. My kitchen looks so much lighter and brighter! The style and color are exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to update a tired kitchen! The attention to detail was outstanding.
We love our "new " kitchen cabinets! Our old cabinets were a golden oak and we chose a creamy white finish. Such a dramatic change in just 4 days! Everyone was friendly and professional. We highly recommend Summit Cabinet coatings!
