Hi - My name is Rick Mascarenas, owner/operator of Five Star Cabinet Refacing, a family owned business. I have been involved in the housing industry since I got out of the Army in the 60's. We added cabinet refacing to our list of services in 2005. We started out by sub-contracting for the "Big Box" stores. After becoming aware of their pricing we decided to go out on our own and cut out the middleman. Since we don't have any stock holders to keep happy and because we have such a low overhead operation, we can pass on the savings to you.
We clean up at the end of each work day so that the kitchen can be used during the project. Our tools are left in place. Final clean up at completion. Redooring or Refronting are terms used in our industry when only the doors and drawer fronts are being replaced on a cabinet. If the cabinet boxes are still in good shape this is an environmentally and budget friendly option, as less material ends up in a landfill, and a cost effective alternative to refacing or total cabinet replacement. 1. Modify the cabinet above and next to the refrigerator to allow for a taller/wider unit.
