This fee typically ranges from $300-500 depending on the engineer used for your location and differing lender requirements. All additions are subject to the HUD Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards (CFR3280) and must support their own weight where attached to the house. Tongue and axle removal, dirt work, skirt bracing, skirting replacement, staircases, handrails, self-supporting carpentry are needed on a case-by-case basis and can add additional costs.
