After more than thirty years of development, decorative concrete has become the prudent choice of homeowners, builders, and businesses everywhere. It has become a multi-faceted industry permeating into all aspects of construction, which has created the opportunity for beautiful alternatives in areas such as driveways, counter tops, pool decks, indoor flooring, and much more. Stamped concrete, also known as patterned concrete, imprinted concrete, colored concrete or textured concrete, provides an endless array of color and pattern combinations providing the look of stone, brick, tile, wood or slate at a fraction of the cost.
Since our inception we have grown to become the leaders in decorative concrete in New Jersey. Our formula for success combines integrity, professionalism and quality workmanship, along with innovative new ideas in concrete. These qualities allow us to transform a client's property into whatever they dream. Whether it is a new driveway, concrete countertop, patio or pool, we offer nothing but the best!
At DeMac Concrete, we specialize in transforming your home through creative, artistic applications and design processes. While we offer textured concrete, we also pride ourselves on our ability to create stamped concrete applications that enhance the beauty, functionality and enjoyment of your home. Whether you want to create an outdoor kitchen area, build a new pool deck, hardscape your backyard, transform your basement or add the timeless beauty of stamped concrete to your living room, DeMac Concrete can help.
We can make you a concrete table to match your new stamped concrete or dream up a custom table for your backyard space and we can build it. We also have a standard travertine bar top table to enhance your new or old patio with endless colors two choose from.
Bring the warmth and coziness of a fireplace to your outdoor area with one of our custom created fireplaces or fire pits. DeMac Concrete creates stunning fireplaces and fire pits for outdoor use, ensuring you have a comfortable place to relax and unwind throughout the year. Our creations are far more than just decorative solutions - they're fully functional, and durable enough to stand the test of time and hard use. You can opt to tie your fireplace or fire pit into your home's gas line, or go the natural route and opt for a wood or charcoal burning fire pit or fireplace.
We have countless hours of experience working with architects, builders, and businesses in developing a working plan to obtain the intended objective for any given job. Whether this is a new commercial site, existing renovation or a new development project, we are equipped and ready to take on the task. We pride ourselves in our work ethic and clearly understand the importance of adhering to a schedule within an allocated budget. Whether you are a small business improving your surroundings with stamped concrete or a large commercial developer installing new, decorative flooring, we are personally committed and passionate about excellence.
Polished concrete is quickly becoming the #1 flooring option in the United States. With all the new polishing machines and techniques, we are now able to grind concrete floor surfaces, both new and old, to a beautiful high gloss finish. Once you consider the durability and performance of concrete, there's no question that polished concrete is on the rise all across America. It's no surprise why retail shopping spaces, warehouses, garages, and professional buildings have a desire for polished concrete flooring as opposed to tile, marble, linoleum or hardwood floors.
Is stamped concrete slippery? It doesn't have to be. If sealer is not applied it will be just like most other concrete surfaces. If you choose to seal your concrete, the surface will be more slippery than an unsealed surface but the non-skid additives mitigate this effect. I see some concrete going into my pool, will it hurt the pool or any of the filtration equipment? No. The small amounts that "splatter" into the pool will not harm the pool or the filter. On rare occasions, larger amounts will fall into the pool.
This sections main focus is on the basics of stamped concrete. However, we can't forget that although stamped concrete looks very different from the traditional "gray" concrete that we see throughout our daily lives, in the beginning stages it is installed in the same manner using the same methods that have been used for decades. To ensure beauty and longevity as an end result, proper concrete placement techniques must be adhered to in the beginning stages. When choosing an installer be sure and ask about his experience and knowledge of concrete and ask to see examples of projects in your area.
Whether you need to improve your landscape design, create terracing with retaining walls, or need excavation done, there are many different types of retention block available. Whatever your budget there is a retaining wall system to provide you functionality and beauty.
