I wish I could give 4.5 stars. Building a pool is a multi-faceted project, and there are multiple aspects to the rating. We used Georgia Classic to do a pool and landscape / hardscape in the backyard and landscaping in the front, with significant grading in both. Here's my breakout with a star rating for each:
I am blown away by what Georgia Classic Pool accomplished with our backyard. They did an amazing job completely transforming our backyard into a place that my family and I can enjoy daily! Vance and Joe were very professional and it was clear they had knowledge on all aspects of the job. They were very respectful and listened attentively to everything we were looking for and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. They did everything they said they would do, and built us a beautiful pool and landscape in the time frame they promised. I truly had no surprises or disappointments throughout the whole process. I would highly suggest them!
Update on my post and review. Vance called me to make sure I was happy in the end and discuss my review and see if he could do anything else for me with respect to any lagging issues on my pool which I did very much appreciate. Also Vance was always available and quickly responded to my needs and problems even if I was upset, he never did not call me back or respond to my texts which I did appreciate. So in the end even though I had some issues and put them below, he did fix any and all my issues, so I adjusted my rating to 3,,,I would give him 3.5 stars if I could on this site, ,,A lso my pool looks amazing and with knowing Vance now pretty well I would still recommend or use him again because in the end all would be adjusted and or fixed to my satisfaction. Ab solutely horrible experience. Recommended by my neighbor, ,a ll great reviews so I felt I was in good hands with a professional and the price was higher than other bids, ,w ell not for me, ,s o many problems, not remembering conversations of things agreed upon in front of Josh and Joe, price sheet given before full estimate was different than my estimate ( items on price sheet were lower),,m y spa air bubbler motor just popped off its pvc housing never attached, steel skimmer rod found lodged in pvc piping to motor, 4 times to fix heater, we agreed upon gcp to use my driveway for equipment they used my grass and ruined part of my yard, under bid and installed to small of an automated system and tried to blame me ( I had said from the very beginning and have the email stating I wanted everything automated through my phone ) and had to argue with them to get what they under bid, they under bid retaining wall compared to drawing and tried to ask for more money, they said 9 wks to finish pool after 4.5 to 5 months I finally had to scream at Vance to get him to come back and finish the job, they have a 500.00 fee if they have to pull off your job for nonpayment or holding them up, ,w ell how about 500.00 for holding me up, ,,I had to be my own contractor/ supervisor to get them to do what was in my contract and agreed upon, no oversight of subs or proper checking of job being done you will have to constantly call them to fix missing items, broken items, or for cleanliness, ,t h ere contract is a joke and must be because they must have had so many problems over the years, so disappointed to spend a lot of money and get sub par oversight, ,w ill never use again or recommend and I have been asked who I used but will not give info.,, Pool, spa, rs automation, deck jets, pebble-sheen, saltwater and pavers.
