My husband and I recently completed one of the most exciting projects of our lives - we had my childhood home completely remodeled to be our new home. The best decision we made was choosing Charanza Contracting. Kenneth is one of the most attentive, honest, and reliable people I have been privileged to know and work with. He truly approached our project as if it were his own home. He was dedicated to accomplishing our goals & plans as well as bringing other options to the table. His attention to detail as well as his 'getting things done right ' approach (not just getting things done) are qualities of a true craftsman and they show in every aspect of our home. I love to bake and cook, and therefore I have always wanted my dream kitchen. Charanza Contracting (Kenneth and Mundee) made this dream come true for me. My kitchen had a complete remodel, down to the studs with new plumbing also. They knocked down walls to make the kitchen and den open to each other. The doorway to the dining area was opened up to better connect the kitchen and dining room. Since we sat down with Kenneth on day one and I told him what I wanted ...he knew exactly what he needed to do. My appliances were shifted from one place to another, I have beautiful cabinets, flooring, windows and appliances. We took this construction into the back hallway and the powder room, foyer and up the staircase. They sanded and re stained my block paneling in the den. A huge built in bookshelf was removed giving us more openness in the den and less clutter. The kitchen, den and foyer got a a new color of paint and beautiful flooring. The workers were wonderful, pleasant and NEVER left a mess at the end of the day. Kenneth made a point of coming by very often day and evening to check on progress and how we were doing. I have LOVED my kitchen, and it makes my love of cooking and baking so much more pleasant. You CANNOT go wrong with Charanza's. Kenneth and his wife Mundee are wonderful to work with and run a very honest business. Thank you Kenneth and Mundee for making my dream come true.

We had met Kenneth and Mundee Charanza through high school activities because their children were the same age as ours. When we purchased a piece of property in the Texas Hill Country, we started making plans to replace the house that existed on the property. Dreading the experience of finding a builder that we knew nothing about, my wife and I started talking to them to see if they had any interest. That was the best decision we ever made. Living in Houston and building in Pipe Creek Texas couldn’t have been easier. Charanza Contracting handled interactions with the architect, building a beautiful home, demolition of the previous house on the property, selling off marketable “antique” beams from the old house, and building a guest house.The guest house was built where the old house was demolished utilizing as much of the slab as possible, incorporating the old fireplace, and salvaging everything they could to keep the costs as low as possible. To add to their versatility, they then constructed two barns, and added an outdoor kitchen and living area to the main house. Amazingly we are still talking and more than before! Kenneth is very detailed oriented and makes sure things are done right. They won’t be the least expensive in the beginning, but over time the difference in quality probably makes them very competitive. I highly recommend them whether you are remodeling, building in the city where you live or looking to build an away home for vacations or future retirement.
