Rest easy knowing that Trigon has your home covered by our warranty program. For the next 10 years from the date you take possession of your home Trigon covers the structure of your home including the foundation and framing. For the first year Trigon covers the systems of your home including the roofing, the plumbing, the heating and cooling, and the waterproofing. Manufacture warranties are passed directly to you and you will receive any applicable manuals at the time of settlement. Examples of manufacture warranties include kitchen appliances, garage door openers, plumbing fixtures, heating and cooling equipment, and roofing materials.
This has been a pretty terrible experience. The beginning phases of the project seemed pretty good. But all of the finishing workmanship has been extremely poor. Out of the first 90 days we were in the house we had to contact the builder or had contractors at the house for 45 days. The company leadership has yet to take responsibility for any of the issues at the house. Responses times are extremely slow. When something does break appointments are missed, appointments are never communicated to us and people just randomly show up. But usually weeks if not months after a problem has been reported. I would never in a million years wish our home building experience on anyone else. Buyer beware. Feel free to hit me up to view our blog that has pictures and videos to back up every single item that we have went thru. Also there is a sense of disbelief when you report an issue as if you are making it, or a common phrase you hear is "Well thats normal" "or this never happens to our homes". Trust me it does. Own up and take responsibility. Many of the more recent neighbors have had the same experience. Poor all around. I don't want to wake up to a waterfall coming into the house again from a fixed window in our foyer at midnight.
Georgia and I are first time home builders at 76 yrs. plus, and the Cheatle family has made this the most pleasing and exciting adventure of our lives. The TRIGON Caroline Model will be the 25th homes we have reside in in 56 years of marriage. We were a Navy family for 25 years, living in England and up and down the East Coast. This home is obviously our last, but with the Cheatle Family helping us, it wil be beyond anything we have ever resided in. Thanks to a great group of dedicated people.
