Marble is a very beautiful stone that can be used as a countertop, Marble tends to have lots of veining and movement and it appeals to a certain type of customer more than others. Marble can be used as a kitchen countertop, but we don't recommend it because it scratches so easily and it can be damaged by acidic foods. Marble is best suited for use in bathrooms as vanity tops, shower seats, shower thresholds and wall caps. Marble can also be used as fireplace hearths and fireplace surrounds.
