Interior design is a very personal process. Recognizing that style is an individual choice, I approach each project with my client's taste, lifestyle, timeframe and budget in mind. My goal is to create an environment that is comfortable, functional, timeless and relaxing which reflects my client's special style and needs.
When I was five years old, growing up in Minnesota, while my friends were making snowmen, I was designing floor plans and furniture in the snow. I knew that I wanted to be a designer. I have been an Interior Designer for over 20 years, currently working with clients in Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, and Santa Barbara. Studying Fine Arts at California State University and Interior Design at UCSB. Before establishing my own Design Firm, I worked for several years in the television advertising industry, first as a principal of my own television production company in Hollywood, California, then as a producer for a large advertising agency in San Francisco.
I approach each project with my client's tastes, lifestyle and budget in mind, designing spaces in which they can live comfortably. I'm a problem solver and a designer that embraces and respects the past but uses classical elements in a new and fresh way. My design have a visible and calming balance using color, fabric textures, warm wood finishes, to create harmony and comfort.
