If you are not sure if you have asbestos, contact us and we can arrange to have your building materials sampled and tested by a 3rd party accredited laboratory. Many buildings contain asbestos, which was used in spray-applied flame retardant, thermal system insulation, and in a variety of other materials. Asbestos was sometimes "flocked" above false ceilings, inside technical ducts, and in many other small spaces where firefighters would have difficulty gaining access. Structural components like asbestos panels were also used.
Resolution is IICRC certified for mold remediation. Be aware of mold remediation contractors who do not recommend a third party evaluation from an industrial hygienist. Performing mold remediation without this independent evaluation is a potential conflict of interest for the contractor. The goal for mold remediation is to remove the mold from the premises. Resolution Fire + Flood will give you an honest opinion, and will offer a recommendation that is best for YOU on how to proceed with your particular situation.
Many of the customers who chose Resolution Fire and Flood had a pleasant experience with them. That's good; it shows they have potential and can provide top notch service to people who experience a loss due to fire or flood. My personal experience did not go as well. The condition my belongings were returned to me was disheartening and made the whole experience very stressful. There was much damage done to my property and some items went missing.
Resolution Fire and Flood was a really great business to work with for my packout and pack back. I had a house flood and after a series of big mistakes by other companies, Resolution was contacted to come and take the remainder of my items for storage. When they first came, they took all my items and packaged them--they did forget the items in the linen closet, but I notified Jason the owner via text and they came and got the rest. They weren't labeled in a way I loved--they were labeled by room instead of by item, and since all my stuff had been moved to other rooms by that point because of oversights of previous companies, I've basically had to open every box to find an item I need, and there's not much rhyme or reason to the box labels since everything was in the kitchen, living room, or garage (all the stuff from my bedrooms were in the garage). So like I said, a bit confusing--I'd recommend asking them to label by items if possible for ease if that's something you'd prefer.
Chris is super helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and makes you feel at ease. I was very worried about a issue in our rental home and he acted fast to put my fears at bay. My husband and I really felt like we had someone one our side, which is a big deal when you live several states away. We will never use anyone else.
