I would like to thank Eric Rugh and his crew for installing a new roof on my home today. Last month, I first met Eric Rugh, owner of Rughs Remodeling and Restoration, at the Columbus Home & Garden Show. With over a dozen roofing companies at the Home Show alone, I knew I wanted to do an in depth research of the roofing process of selecting a new roof along with educating myself on all of the roofing companies and their experience. I initially explained my concerns of getting a new roof with Eric and his in-depth knowledge of the roofing business coupled with his extreme professionalism quickly stood out among the competition whose knowledge was lacking. Like many of you reading this post, I initially questioned the difficulty of selecting a new roof. For those of you who may not know what it entails to get a new roof, I feel as if Eric personally educated me as if I was getting into the business myself, which differentiated himself against the competition. In a detailed manner, Eric explained the various components of a roof. (i.e. shingles, turtle vents, ridge vents, drip edges, underlayment protection, hip caps, ice guards, pipe boots, technology of various types of shingles vs wind resistance, algae, sun, etc). To those skeptical, I ask you how detailed oriented are the competitor companies you are speaking to today who just try to show you shingle colors and leave out the details. After the Home Show, Eric stopped by my house for a roof inspection. Earlier today, the crew who worked on my roof were outstanding in that they took care of every possible concern I had and did an excellent job removing and replacing the roof. The cleanup afterwards was impressive. I could not be happier with the process and the results of having a new roof.
