Very happy with 5820 Radon Mitigation. Martha was on top of the whole process from the beginning and kindly answered my many questions. Bryan did the initial inspection and job planning. Our house required some special consideration because it has two separate slabs, but Bryan gave me a good explanation of what they would do. After we got HOA approval, Dustin did the installation which involved drilling a hole for the vent pipe through the back of the house, drilling down into the basement slab, sealing all the existing basement seams and holes, painting and installing the fan pipe all the way up past the second floor roof.
I especially liked how he kept the work site clean throughout the day. Definitely would recommend. These guys really worked well as a team with good communication with me and each other. Great experience!

I have been working with Bryan and his technicians for over 2 years now, working to get my levels down below 4 pCi/l (their guarantee was to reduce it to that level). They have been extremely pleasant and professional to work with throughout. The first level was over 20 and the initial drop was to around 6. I purchased an Airthings-Wave to keep an eye on the levels over time.
They put a bigger fan, which didn't do much. After determining a crawl space that had elevated levels, they sealed and caulked the space and installed an additional draw point. This dropped the level to close to 0 in the summer and averages around 2 once the weather got cold and we closed up the house. Bryan just came out and switched to the lower wattage fan to see if that will maintain the low levels and if not will put back the larger fan. All this for no additional charges. Thanks Bryan & Co!

Above and beyond. I contacted the team in late 2020, and they did their work. After a while I bought some radon detectors noticed levels were fluctuating between 4-8 pci/L. I contacted the team and they fixed it up over 2 additional works free of charge. Our house radon has been below 2 since then with our long term value being less than 1pci/L (seldom spikes above 1.5). Amazing job and amazing level of accountability. Bought a new house a few weeks ago and had high radon numbers. We were referred to another company for mitigation but I got a really bad gut feeling when talking with the guy so I expanded my search and I'm so glad I did. Martha was so informative on our initial phone call and sent out a quote asap. It was a bit higher than the other quotes we had but I went with 5280 because I felt like they would get the job done right and it wouldn't be a hassle and I am so glad to say I was right. Dustin called as he was heading over, he was super nice and informative. Walked me through the whole process & got to work.

I worked with him on where it needed to be installed and he went the extra mile and sealed any crack than had been created and gave me all of the advice I needed in order to make everything work moving forward. Installed system. Arrived on time and did a very job. I monitored the readings daily and after 2 weeks it wasn't dropping the readings. They honored their warranty and came back with 2 people to see what they could do. The basement was large and we were thinking we would need 2 systems. They added another take point in the basement and tied into the the one blower. It worked great and no extra charge. They saved me from buying another blower system. Very honest company!

I am in the real estate industry and interviewed a total of 5 companies before I chose to work with 5280 for my radon mitigation. They beat all but one other company, but I loved the fact that they were not going to charge anything additional if I chose to run it through the garage or elsewhere. Cody, which by the way is a fantastic employee, was very clear that he's happy to go over things multiple times after explaining the same thing again to my wife just five minutes later he explained it to me. "You are making a major modification to your home and I'm happy to make you comfortable with what can be done".
I loved that! He was respectful, knowledgeable, and found a way to keep the pipe out of two patio areas I was just sure I'd have to see it go through. This IS the Radon company to use, and I'd suggest you ask for Cody, he was awesome!

This company is great! I was given their name as a recommendation from a friend who used them about a month prior to me mentioning that we needed radon abatement for our new home. The lady who answered was super nice and gave me a quote immediately. The installer, Matt, was also super nice and very efficient. Highly recommend this company as they were a joy to work with.
The house buying situation right now is a bit of an emotional roller coaster, but they made this process extremely easy. If you need radon abatement, these guys are the best!

I was so glad the appointment was soon after our contacting them. Ryan came right during the hours we were told and he did outstanding work. Drilling through cement, running the mitigation fan ductwork to the top of a high roof and wiring it could have all been things that an installer may have had problems with, but Ryan was incredibly knowledgeable and a fast worker.
He cleaned as he was going and the end product was exactly what we hoped for. I strongly recommend 5280 Radon Mitigation if your radon readings are at all high. I'm many cases they can guarantee getting them back in the safe range.

Matt and 5280 Radon did an excellent job installaing our radon mitigation. Matt walked us through and explained everything. We were unsure on where to drill and set it up, and they suggested we go up through the garage, which was brilliant. They were also able to seal off our huge crawl space. All didn't take very long. Price is reasonable and competitive. An honest and dependable delivery of a very valuable service.
As hoped, our post-mitigation test came back under the limit! A recommendation from my sister-in-law, I couldn't agree more and give a huge recommendation for 5280 Radon!

They sent a quote on a Monday, and after accepting the quote, we scheduled the mitigation system installation for the following Monday. Matt showed up for the installation, we decided on a location, and he had it done in an afternoon. It took our radon level from over 30 pCi/L down to 1.7 pCi/L. Matt was very professional! We contacted 5280 Radon Mitigation for a quote back in January before all of the COVID19 issues. 5280 Radon Mitigation was very understanding of the military placing our move on hold and honored the original quote 4 months later. The installation went smoothly. Matt walked us through what he was going to do before he started and completed the visit with showing us exactly what he did and where.

This company was great to work with. Sandy came out on his way home to verify they would be able to install in a good location. Matt came out to install the following week. They ended up doing a pipe from basement extra space into garage, then into attic and through roof. This required a decent amount of care and effort. The finished product is hidden away and the exposed portions look better than expected. Within 48 hours my Airthings monitor reported a drop from over 9 to below 1. I am grateful that my home is safer now with minimal aesthetic impact.

5280 Radon Mitigation completed work for my daughter and son-in-law. I was at their home on the day of the install and was impressed with the efficiency of the work. Knowing that from previous testing my basement needed mitigation, I called 5280. Martha, who manages their office, was a delight to talk to. My basement is finished and a walk-out. I thought perhaps the job might be a bit complicated as placement options were limited so the owner agreed to come out, at no cost, to examine the basement.
He assured my husband they could easily do the mitigation. Scheduling was a breeze. The price was less than other estimates I had received earlier. Toby, the installer arrived at the designated time, wore a mask, and went straight to work. Three to four hours later, the work was complete. Toby had throughly cleaned the area, was friendly and professional.
They guarantee their work for seven years. Although they leave a test to confirm radon levels, I had purchased a well recognized radon tester a year before so I also turned it on. Levels had dropped from over 12 to.4. Without reservation, I recommend 5280 Mitigation.

As a Real Estate Agent, I have worked with 5280 Radon many times and just had them install a system in my own home. They are always so responsive, professional, and do very quality work. I've worked with Matt the most and he continues to do an amazing job. Not every house I've given him (including my own) has been easy, but he always finds a creative way to make it work. I wouldn't consider using anyone else!

We chose 5280 Radon to install our radon mitigation system, since it came highly recommended by our realtor and the initial quote was competitive. It took two visits, but we ended up with a discreet system that effectively dropped our radon levels from about 6 pCi/L at inspection to 1 pCi/L post-installation. During the first visit, my husband was told that the technician might be able to install the pipe to go up inside the wall, up to the attic and vent through the roof.
The technician then cut out an attic entrance, only to find insulation blocking the path up to the entrance. The system had to be exterior to the house after all. It also turned out that we needed additional electrical wiring to power the system (not sure why this wasn't disclosed earlier), so a second visit was required since the technician needed to have an electrician on-site to make sure it was installed properly.
The reasons why this isn't a five-star review is that (1) we still have a hole the size of a half dollar in our ceiling next to the attic entrance; and (2) the actual cost ended up being almost double the initial estimate that the seller's agent used to determine our credit during negotiations. We ended up with a working radon system that doesn't negatively impact the aesthetics of our home, so I'm really happy about that. However, I would have liked to their technician to patch up the hole he drilled and a more accurate quote upfront. All in all, would recommend.

I purchased a house recently where the sellers put a mitigation system that was great for the upstairs, but still wasn't getting Radon out of my basement. 5280 came out and built a second line for free as part of their guarantee. Radon levels were around 10 in a home we purchased. I got 3 or 4 quotes. 5280 was the least expensive by a few bucks, but what sold me was that they charged the same thing if they could run the system interior instead of exterior. I did have to email a few times once or twice to get things scheduled or resolved, but the tech was great, the price was right, and I'm really happen with the system we ended up with. It's interior, the tech even cut through some shelving to bring it up through the garage into the attic, around a concrete footer.
It would've been easy for him to dial it in and just say he couldn't do it. But he did, and was a cool guy, and cleaned everything up perfectly. Tests reflect new radon levels are.7 - well within acceptable levels. They charged exactly what they quoted without any issue, which is also always appreciated. Would recommend.

I wanted to say how impressed I was with the Customer Service we had last Friday. We have been in our house for a year and the system was put in a few weeks before we moved in to the house. We noticed a few weeks ago the system was not functioning properly. I am so mad at myself I did'nt remember our techs name but he was FANTASTIC! They fixed it for us at no charge. Customer service does still exist. Thank you so much 5280! I would recommend you anytime!

We were in a time crunch due to a basement renovation project. Our floor contractors were at a standstill and could not finish because our radon system had not been relocated. The company that had installed our radon system years ago went MIA when we tried to hire them to move the system. Bryan stepped in and provided an affordable quote on Friday.
On Tuesday, he came by to remove the old system so our floor contractors could continue working. By Thursday, the mitigation system had been relocated. It was fast, painless, efficient and took up less space than the previous model. Bryan provided several location options revolving around our current renovation, as well as future renovation projects we were considering (i.e. egress window). Bryan is very knowledgeable.
We enjoyed chatting with him about a wide spectrum of topics from kids attractions to climate change. He is very personable, reliable and trustworthy. We would hire him again without a doubt and would highly recommend him!

These guys were the most helpful of the 3 bids I had quoted for my Radon mitigation system. Their solution was by far the most effective and aesthetically pleasing. Install was painless and the system has worked well. I even had a warranty issue and they quickly repaired it for no charge a year later. I would recommend them for anyone.

5280 Radon has done multiple installations in our neighborhood -- Heritage Todd Creek in Thornton. Had only heard good things about them so gave them a call. Three days later I've now got their mitigation system in my basement. The whole process was super easy. Installer was very professional. Phoned in advance. Arrived as scheduled. Very pleasant and efficient fellow. Appears to have done a good job. Painted the exterior vent to match the rest of the house-- I supplied the paint. Cleaned up everything. Explained everything. They installed a nifty little air pressure gauge that lets me tell the system is working. Price was very competitive. I recommend them.
