We had a very good experience with Sound Painting. They were not the cheapest estimate, (other places we had concerns about, estimators that rescheduled a few times, or were late, slow to deliver estimate, etc) but Sound Painting arrived on time to every date, did what they said they would do, and finished on time. They fixed any issues noticed, even to tiny single dots of over spray, or even repainting one small area we had miscommunication on color on.
All the workers were kind, polite and professional. They really wanted everything to be perfect. The quality looks very good. No messes left, extra care was taken to make sure no paint landed on landscaping, concrete, or decking. Would recommend.

I recently hired Sound Painting Solutions for a painting project, and I am extremely satisfied with their services. Over the past four years I have used Sound Painting Solutions to paint the exterior of my house, paint several of my interior rooms, build my deck, and more. For each and every project they have been amazing to work with from the initial quoting phase, to when the brushes are dipped into the paint buckets, to when projects are cleaned up. In particular what I appreciate is that they're great at being flexible, understanding, and ensure that the any unexpected issues with a project get resolved.
That last one in particular is not something many companies are good at, so the fact that it's something that Sound Painting Solutions excels at, is something special. I will continue to trust Sound Painting Solutions for all of my future painting and light carpentry needs.

I had James and Garett from Sound Painting Solutions out to stain a brand new built-in, and they did a phenomenal job, even applying a good wood conditioner prior to the stain and two coats of varnish. It was a great deal of work, considering the bench opens, as well as the cabinets. In total there were 20 shelves that needed to be stained. They were able to do everything in three days, which both amazed and delighted our family.
We needed the job done during a very specific time period and they were able to accommodate us. I would highly recommend Sound Painting Solutions! In fact, I plan on having them return to work on our deck this summer!

Sound Painting solutions did an amazing job from the initial request for an estimate to the end of the painting job. It was a quick turnaround with an accurate estimate and length of job. They were helpful in explaining everything from strategy, color selection, and payment. The team that did the work was on time and quick to adjust the few quality issues I discovered. Out of the three estimates I gathered they were also the lowest, fastest, and highest in quality. They have a happy returning customer.

We contacted Sound Painting Solutions along with a few other companies to repaint most of our open plan first floor, a ceiling in another room, and assist with completing some drywall repair that had been left unfinished by another contractor after a water leak. From start to finish everyone we interacted with was kind, responsive, and easy to work with. Jeff spoke with me on the phone and was able to provide an estimate the same day I contacted them.
They fit our (relatively small) job in within 2 weeks and Matt and his crew who did the work were A : Prompt, careful and respectful of our space, excellent work quality, and they left our home absolutely spotless when they were done. Super impressed with these folks! Their estimator responded to my inquiry on a Sunday (not expected) and provided a quote from photos and my floor plan. They were able to schedule me within a week (amazing!). A crew of considerate young men showed up precisely on time, wiped walls, masked outlets and covered the floor. They were done within a day and a half and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this company.

Respectful of my time, consultative to explain my options, hands-on to ensure the results were matching my expectations, and courteous to my neighbors to ensure the trucks were out of the way and no trash was left out. I am most impressed with the high quality job Sound Painting Solutions did on my house. My project was smallish but detailed - with many windows and celling beams to cut in around. All their staff are excellent effective communicators, professional and caring. They really wanted to know if I was dissatisfied in any way. I did have them come back to do a very minor touchup that bothered my perfectionist mind. They were on time too! What a treat to work with a company that ticks all my boxes! I recently hired Sound Painting Solutions to repaint my one bedroom condo. They did the ceiling, trim, and both the bedroom and living area/kitchen. Kevin and crew did a fantastic job! Jeff and the entire team were extremely responsive and professional. They got us scheduled quickly, tolerated last minute changes, finished AHEAD OF SCHEDULE when we had an extremely tight window to complete the job. They also charged less than a competing bid from another highly rated company that had a longer wait to get the job completed. Victor and his crew were awesome.
On our final walk through, he noticed a section of the stairwell that had been missed that I didn't even catch and offered to complete it that afternoon. Very happy with the work they did and with the professionalism everyone demonstrated. Would absolutely recommend.

This company is great. From the front desk to the estimator to the painting crew I felt well taken care of all along the way. We booked pre-Covid and I was worried this might set things back a bit, but not at all. Painting happened right on schedule. The crew leader was excellent at his job and in the end the house looks great. Our job was a big job on a narrow lot with a lot of plants up close to the house.
They did a great job getting things prepped, and then getting things painted. In the end we are 100% satisfied and I highly recommend them. I wish all home care in Seattle was this high quality.

Surprisingly great and easy! The cedar shake on the south side of our house had been getting soft for a few years and paint was beginning to peel. I got an estimate over a zoom call (during quarantine) by providing requested pictures. The carpenters came out first and replaced almost the entire side of the house and even did it more quietly than expected.
When they were done the only difference was that all the old crap cedar shake shingles were gone and nice new cedar shingles were left behind in their place. A few weeks later the painters showed up and were able to almost perfectly color match against the previous paint ( we were only having the one side painted ) even though we didn't have any record of what the color was.
It took 2 days of work but everything was pretty much perfect once they were done. They did a great job taping off around windows and covering the plants under the side of the house.

From start to finish my experience with Sound Painting was extremely positive. Jeff is a very personable business owner, skilled in his trade, and an excellent communicator. He was very quickly able to get a team on a repaint of the entire first floor of a rental house I'm selling. Sound Painting was great. From a quickly scheduled estimate to a great job painting my townhouse by Victor and his crew - the job was professional, on-time, and of very high quality. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Just slightly pricier than other options but I think definitely worth it for the professionalism and quality. Will definitely go straight to them next time I need any paint job, and will refer to friends.

We decided to work with Jeff and Sound Painting Solutions right before things shut down in March. Jeff was extremely responsive and stayed in touch. Once we got going it was very easy to communicate with Jeff about the project. The crew was incredible - kind, professional and did such a good job. They helped out with other things that were going on around the house at the same time such as deliveries and worked well with other crews in the space. Victor was the lead on our particular job and was so nice as well. We had wallpaper done in our dining room and Gary did a beautiful job. The house was left in great shape afterward. Update: April 2019 We had to have some repair work done and asked Sound Painting Solutions to fix the paint damage we had and touch up some other projects. They gave us a bid and we agreed. When the painter showed up, he felt some of the work should be under warrantee from their previous work and they reduced our bill by 35%. Again, they may be the most expensive at first glance but they are still the best value.
Sound Painting Solutions offers extraordinary value even though their bid was the highest we looked at. They provided us twice the allotment of journeyman and apprentice painter's hours other bidders offered at a 30-25% increase in cost. They repaired defects we had for decades and produced a new house finish in a 40 year old home and kept the time we were displaced to a minimum.
They met or exceeded the specs on their bid, using up to 4 coats to get the finish they wanted even though they only promised 2. They removed wallpaper and refinished walls expertly. They did not stop until they got it right. The job site was visited regularly by 2 levels of supervisors, each searching proactively for problems and responding to our concerns.
Everybody we worked with was rapidly responsive and effective. The work ethic at all levels we encountered was something I would recommend without reservation. We particularly enjoyed Gary, Kevin, Michael, Elizabeth, Todd, Matt, Zack, Cory and Jeff.
