I was very impressed with Improovy Inc. from the very start. Todd S. was very responsive and answered all my questions when starting our exterior door painting project. A quote was sent to us quickly, and the price for the quality of the work was unmatched. Roland S., our production coordinator, was also great to work with. He was very detailed in how and when the job would get done.
He made sure we were satisfied with the work every step of the way. The painters did an amazing job; we absolutely love the finished product. We will definitely be hiring Improovy again for future painting projects!

We had a good experience with Improovy - Mariela and her team did an EXCELLENT job painting our whole house before we moved in. For reference, they were able to complete 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, family room, large kitchen, pantry, hallways, landings (walls, ceiling, trim, window casings) in 7 days. Set up and cleanup was great - I've had painters leave lots of dust and grit behind, but not this crew - they took the time to appropriately cover everything and clean up when they were done.
The painting itself was really well done - we did mostly white everywhere, but had two rooms painted different colors. They left us with the leftover paint for future touchups.

We recently used Improovy for interior painting for our condo in Ukrainian Village. Our initial contact was Andy. He was a great listener and helped us understand the scope of work that was needed to complete our vision while staying cognizant of our time constraints and budget. I was trying to have this project completed while my other half was on a work trip so as to not disrupt his day to day and it couldn't have been more perfect.
Our project coordinator was Josh and he was SO helpful in clarifying the different levels of sheen and how many coats it would take to get the job done - We had some bold color choices. Cecilios and Greg ultimately were the painters that executed the project. The whole team was communicative, on time and flexible as in some cases I wasn't sure if I wanted certain colors to be taken all the way to the floor or to certain corners (we were doing a bunch of accent stuff) but Cecil was quick to adjust.
They did all of the interior walls of the lower level of our condo (living room, dining room, kitchen) a really tall 20ft stairwell, interior accent beams, and the lips of several door frames that they removed the doors and put back after the project was complete. They were able to do this in 2 days with 3 different color choices for various walls.
They left our home clean and in great shape. My only criticism is that they did paint over our electrical panel. We were ultimately able to get it open with a box knife without messing up the paint and I'm happy that the panel itself blends in with the wall but wondering if there could have been a better way of handling that. Overall we are VERY happy and intend on using Improovy for our upstairs rooms soon! Thanks guys for all your help - You're great! We cant wait to get all the art up on the walls, remove some ugly light fixtures and make our home really come to life!

Extremely thankful for Improovy and BJ of Jun's Painting. We spoke to a few companies while trying to find someone to paint all our walls and ceilings. Everyone I interacted with to coordinate the job was professional, responsive and helpful. And BJ's work is meticulous. Our home feels totally refreshed and more like us. Would return to them for future painting needs.

I hired Improovy to paint the exterior of my home. I could not be happier with how things turned out. My home is all cedar and they took time to prep and caulk everything so that the lines between my trim and siding is perfect. I am extremely picky about my house and have to say that they did a fantastic job. I worked with Cole and Roland to get this set up and scheduled. My painter was Eric and he was so meticulous. I would recommend these guys to anybody who cares about quality.

Just a great experience. It was strange to me to take pics and get a quote without meeting but things ran wonderfully. Nick did my quotes and then introduced me to the lead, Roland. Roland and Nick were both extremely responsive. Roland gave me contact data for the workers. They were on time, did superb work, Cleaned up at the end of each day and were personable and professional. Alan and Carlos were phenomenal. I will use Improovy in the future.

I had a great experience with Improovy. My painter Michael and project manager Roland were very responsive, very professional and did great work. I was especially impressed with the painting Michael did on my large, custom baseboards - which were a hot mess after I recently had new hardwood floors installed on my entire 2nd floor. The baseboards look beautiful now, you can't even tell they were torn out before.
And Michael was very careful to prevent any paint from getting on my new floors. I also needed a couple touch ups after the project was done, and Michael came back right away to accommodate that request, no questions asked. I would 100% recommend Improovy.

Improovy has a lot of moving parts to it, as it is a larger organization--which is great overall, though, it led to some lapses in communication. When that happened, though, they were always very apologetic and accepting of responsibility. With regard to our job in particular, we were getting the interior of our home painted. There was a snafu with scheduling, which would have greatly impacted our move-in timeframe (along with a slue of other contractors we had scheduled), and DeAndre (our crew leader) worked hard to make sure to fit us in according to our timeline. That said, they did a great job with the house and we are looking for them to come back in the near future to help out with ceilings and doors!

Mike and Roland were very flexible to our ever-changing scheduling needs and the quality of the job was top notch. Mike especially was super communicative and quick to respond. They also worked around other contractors with ease. Would definitely use Improovy again! Service: Interior painting

What a great laugh I had with the rep over the phone! I was looking for quote on getting a house painted that I'm in the process of purchasing. I can't remember his name (sorry) but one of his first questions was which state I live in. Unfortunately, they are Chicago based and I'm states away. I thought it was hilarious that their company came up still.
And I appreciated the call, plus the rep was still kind enough to help me with my color of choice. He let me know that Sherwin Williams came out with a "Barn Red" color and after looking it up, it seems perfect for my project! Great customer service, wish I could give them my business! :(

We used Improovy for an exterior painting project and they were a pleasure to work with. I appreciated that the quote, contract, and payment were handled via email, and customer service was attentive and friendly at every step of the process. The painters went above and beyond to confirm the details and even replaced some rotten trim that wasn't part of the original deal. I would definitely recommend giving them a call!

I had the interior of my condo painted and am loving the result! Kamil was my guy and was able to wrap everything up within two days, including some really nice patching work to clean up my wall surfaces so everything looks brand new. He was always prompt and the whole Improovy team was very communicative from start to finish. I would definitely recommend!

I contacted Improovy to stain a large backyard deck in the western suburbs of Chicago. The two painters (Omar and Israel) did a fantastic job. They came one morning to power wash, then took 2 days to stain (It's a big project, I actually expected it to take even longer than 2 days). Omar and Israel were 1)polite 2) respectful 3) meticulous 4) patient.
Before they left they asked me to do a walk through to see if I'd like anything touched up. We bought a very old home, 5 years ago, and have had countless contractors, painters, etc in our space. These two guys (and Improovy), take the cake for professionalism. Couldn't be happier.

I'm new to Chicago and didn't know where to start when looking for a painting company to give a fresh look to the condo I purchased. I resorted to my go to place which is yelp. That's where I found Improovy and read wonderful reviews. Not only did the painter do any excellent job but the company had very competitive pricing and great customer service. Highly recommended.
