Highly recommend Garden Environments for landscaping work, particularly with a propensity for native plants - 5/5 stars. They did a fairy large hardscaping job for us that turned out much better than we envisioned. We get compliments on the work all the time. Very professional, Jennifer's design work is incredible, and the crew was very communicative and timely throughout. Have and will continue to recommend to everyone and we're having them come back to do another project.

We used Garden Environments for a large project in our back yard. We worked with Jennifer who created a design that incorporated everything we wanted from the space. She worked patiently with us on all decision points and we're very happy with the plan and how it turned out. I liked the projects on their site, plus they are local, so we ended up contacting them & are currently working with them with our project. Will update this post as the project proceeds. UPDATE: The project has finally been completed. If I were ever to do it again, I would insist on starting either before winter or spring time. The project took longer than expected, due mostly to weather & a couple of their maintenance days. Ultimately I am happy with the result.

I hired Mike Lehmann, a landscapist with Garden Environments, to provide an estimate for installing a drainage system at my house. In addition, he provided estimates for grading, improving drainage, and landscaping at a rental property I own. He was very easy to work, knowledgable, and clearly passionate about what he does. Prior to moving here from Michigan, Mike owned his own landscaping firm, and writes beautifully on his website about the role of the garden in providing peace and tranquility. http://www.lehmanndesigngroup.com/16485.html After our initial meeting, he came back to look at the property to visualize what he wanted to do.
He answered all my questions with care, and thought through solutions with me, rather than trying to impose a framework. He was also flexible about breaking the project into smaller pieces so that I could make progress without breaking the bank, Mike did not charge additional fees for doing this, even though it involved sending his gardening team more than once to finish a job. My mother once hired a landscapist whom she eventually sent packing because he was too prescriptive. She was amazed by Mike flexibility. I would gladly work with Mike again.
