In the area of HVAC and Energy businesses, we have seen first hand that not all companies are trustworthy and truly deliver on their promise of energy efficiency. This company was fantastic and made us feel instantly at ease. As many have noted, James was wonderful. He took us around our home and showed us the areas of concern, but what was great was that he was not trying to sell us on added services we didn't need.
Quite the opposite. Once we signed up to have our attic sealed and reinsulated, his crew was right on time, worked hard and was very respectful of our home. We immediately noticed that our air conditioner was suddenly not working as hard. Fair price, great workmanship and totally trustworthy. Go with these guys!

The job was to insulate my garage walls and above the garage ceiling. These areas of a new house are not required to be insulated at time of original construction. So I found out (through cold and heat) that it sure would have been nice to have had it done then. Oh Well! A prompt team showed up when they had scheduled.right on time.very courteous team members.they paid attention to detail including opening of the wall mounted power panel to seal any potential leak through spots. Very nice work including post job clean up, and priced reasonably.would recommend this company anytime, based on this experience.

I called at the last minute but it didn't matter. With in two days of my call I had an on-site quote and the job was finished. The crew that showed up were professional and friendly. We have used AppleBlossom Energy twice - to upgrade the insulation in our home and my mother in laws. Our equal payment power bill went from $196 a month to $160! We have been very impressed with the work and the staff. No pressure to get work done that really wasn't needed. We felt they were honest and upfront with us and we are extremely satisfied. James Moore was awesome to work with! They were here when they said they would be - even a little early. (how unusual is that?!) I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I had been wanting to have under my house insulation to save on heating and air, so I spoke with a contractor who had remodeled two bathrooms for me and he suggested AppleBlossom. WOW what an awesome job they did for me and they did not even leave me a mess to clean up. Would not have know they had been there if my neighbor texted me to let me know a large truck was at my residence. Very satisfied customer.

We contacted AppleBlossom to do the maintenance work on our AC units last week. The men who came over worked efficiently, doing a thorough inspection as well as complete maintenance service on both units. They also went above and beyond in provision of service, explaining the work they did, letting us know the condition of the units (older units, but running well), and giving sound advice related to keeping the units running well in the future.
We here about "service excellence" often lately. Our experience with Apple Blossom was one of those excellent service experiences many companies talk about, but not all are able to delivery. I would definitely recommend their company in the future to anyone who asks.

I have been looking for a good company to do our insulation. I have found it in Apple Blossom Energy. We are a small remodeling company focusing on older homes and Apple Blossom has solved our ongoing issues with finding a very good and knowledgeable insulation contractor. Densepack cellulose is the best and safest insulation for old homes and this company did a fantastic job with installation, follow up and pricing.
I could not have been happier. They passed inspection on the first shot, came when they said they would and finished promptly. As far as I am concerned, there is no other insulation company in the Piedmont.

Arrived ten minutes later than specific appointment time but had called to notify of delay. Neat and clean. Very honest- did not try to sell things not needed. Explained alternative insulations in thorough manner. A good price for a qualified review of a portion of the home often ignored until leaks or other issues occur.

We recently bought a new house and noticed that it was difficult to cool the upstairs on hot and sunny days, so I had Apple Blossom come out to offer some solutions. The man arrived on time and was cordial and professional. He briefly examined the attic and made some recommendations. In the end, we did not go forward with his advice, because after a few weeks in the new house it became clear what the true problem was, and it was not the attic, but some knee walls in the bonus room above the garage.
This was not entirely his fault, because I did not ask him to examine that room, but at the same time he did not spend very much time on his investigation, especially since it was a paid energy audit service (not a free estimate). He was in and out in about 10 minutes tops, and so did not truly discover the root of the problem. That being said, they were a professional operation and I would probably turn to them again if/when I needed work done.

The review and informative. The individual understood his business and answered all of my questions regarding current level of insulation and options to improve the insulation level. However, this is basically what I would have expected as a free review and quote for an insulation job. I also thought the inspections was to be a whole house inspection and not just the attic. So, no problem at all with the quality of the inspection, I just felt it was paying for a quote. I did not have the insulation replaced.
