Gave Brent a call. He returned my call quickly and although he is very busy at the moment (understandably), he offered to walk me through my current issue over the phone. Because its a leak that needs to be addressed sooner vs later, he advised me on who would be qualified to do the job and what all is needed to get the job done correctly. His expert advise provided some insight so that I wont get blindsided or misguided by any other professional. I can see now why he has a loyal client base and is booked out for several weeks.

Brent is fantastic. We bought a house with a pool and had no idea where to start. Our home inspector recommended a pool inspection and I kept coming across Brent's name. He came out, did a thorough check of our pool and made several videos explaining our pool parts and system for us. As a first-time pool owner, that was so appreciated. He is so knowledgeable and we really appreciated his explanations and time he took to explain everything. Highly recommend!

I'm leaving a review simply based on their upfront customer service. I haven't actually used them yet. Many companies are so busy that they don't respond. However Brent replied back quickly, gave some honest thoughts and told me he was backed up. He even gave me a referral to a competitor in case I needed help sooner. Lastly his philosophy appears to be to fix the problem without spends tons of money if not necessary. Too many businesses don't respond, don't care or try to gouge people. Based on his quick and thoughtful response, I am likely to hire them at some point.

Brent from A+ Pool Leak Detectives did a great job - he went above and beyond, as a matter of fact - and I would definitely recommend him. I own a property in Austin but don't live there, so his video report was really helpful - clear and helped us understand what was going on. We finally solved a persistent leak that other leak detection companies failed to detect. 5 stars!

I had a very good experience for repairing my pool leak. Brent is friendly, professional, always reachable for questions before and after service.
I noticed that the initial quote was higher than other companies, but for the time and efforts he made to do a complete inspection and repair was well worth it.
Will refer to friends and ask for service again if needed.

Brent diagnosed my hard to find leak over a period of two days. The first time he came the leak went away. He had me fill the pool, came back the next morning, and was able to find a 18 gallon per hour leak.
Brent is very professional and you tell he knows what he is doing. I used to work in the auto industry and there is a difference between a mechanic and a technician. Brent reminds me of a technician. He has high tech equipment that you can tell cost a lot, but that is what you need to correctly diagnose problems in any industry. He will be who I call from now on. Hopefully I won't have any more leaks.

I'm a puzzle solving, fix it yourself type and yet, my 31 year old pool was resisting my efforts to solve a suction side leak that was blowing so many bubbles through my return pipes that the pool sweep bag would fill up with air and rise to the surface.
My pool service guy recommended I talk with Brent who had already solved multiple leak challenges with his other clients.
Brent was knowledgable and genuinely helpful from the very beginning. Over the phone he provided me multiple things to do that would further isolate the problem and possibly allow me to fix the leak myself.
Unfortunately, the challenge persisted and I had Brent out to do the work. Per the other reviews for A+ Pool Leak Detectives, Brent is in the right line of work. He enjoys meticulously identifying leaks by leveraging his advanced tools, his experience, and his "let's get it done" assistant Omar.
The leak was solved by replacing a couple Jandy valve stem 'O' rings. The pool sweep is once more working, and his fancy machines gave me confidence that both my pool and hot tub are holding water properly despite their advancing age.

My 45+ year-old pool sprung a leak last fall. First I called a company based out of Georgetown, TX. They came out and did some sort of test and told me the leak was in one of the pool returns. I agreed to let them fix the leak. They proceeded to bust up my pool deck, then instead of repairing the leak, they decided to simply cap off the affected pool return. I was not consulted about their "solution." A day or two later, I found that their "solution" solved nothing, as the pool continued to leak.
Then I called Brent. He arrived with sophisticated leak detection equipment and was able to tell me with accuracy to the hundredth of a gallon per hour how much water the pool was losing at rest and under load. He then determined the line which was leaking, then effected repair by utilizing an underwater epoxy. No need to bust through the concrete! The first attempt at repair still left a bit to be desired, but Brent wouldn't settle for anything but a perfect seal. The man worked tirelessly until we were sealed and back in business. All without afflicting any further damage!
This guy is a bulldog! He will work days, evenings and weekends to solve your leak and then continue to check up on you days and weeks later to make sure all is well. I cannot recommend A+ Pool Leak Detectives enough!

Brent with A+ is the way to go for leak detection and repair. The sophisticated equipment he used quickly generalized the leak in my spa area. Shortly thereafter he found the leak in one of the return jets and showed it to me. Quick epoxy fix and I'm done. No more leak. No way could I have ever found and/or repaired this myself.
I was having to add 2-3 inches to my pool weekly (I'm not giving out my address so the City of Austin water Nazi's don't come after me) which was causing my water bill to rise significantly, not to mention increased cost of the chemicals necessary for all the fresh water I was dumping in my pool.
Brent's serious about what he does. He takes great pride in his work and wants you to understand each of the steps he's taking to solve your problem. Communication is way above the norm. He will stay on the job until you are completely satisfied.
Cannot recommend this business more highly. It's refreshing to find a caring owner who does what he says he'll do and does it with a pleasant demeanor.
