Kitchen Cabinets

Honeybear Painting uses a strict step by step process to transform those old wood cabinets into beautiful factory-like finished cabinets. Attention to detail is something we take pride in.

Wallpaper Removal

Honeybear Painting uses no solvents or chemicals in removing wallpaper. We use professional grade steamers. ​Our Process: 1. We start by scoring the wallpaper with a scoring tool. This put tiny tears into the wallpaper. These tears allow the steam to penetrate beneath the wallpaper. This creates separation of the wallpaper from the wallboard. 2. After scoring, we take the steaming pad, and apply steam to small sections for 30-60 seconds at a time. In unison with the steaming, we scrape off the loosened wallpaper. 3. Once wallpaper is removed, we scrape off any residual glue. We then allow it to dry overnight. Any glue still remaining is palm sanded off the next day. Glue must be removed prior to painting.
