509 Excavation is a family company serving Spokane and other areas in Washington. The founder, Adam Haines, decided to start a construction business Horizontal Construction and Landscaping or HCL in short, when he retired from the Air Force in 2017 after 14 years of service. In May of 2019 Adam decided to add an extension to HCL and started 509 Excavation for just excavating needs around the Spokane area. Adam is a dedicated problem solver, always coming up with solutions for the hurdles that come his way.
Its cold out there. If you have shallow waterlines make sure they are insulated. Heat tape works the best with pipe insulation around that. If you need help with any the above let me know and I will come out to help.

This job was a fix from another contractor that had failed three times before I came. Though I don't generally do retaining wall I was able to get some hands and teach them how to stack and compact for a stable wall.
This is a water repair to a house in cheney. Though I don't recommend this type of fix with galvanized popping. This was only a temporary fix. This line will be replace sometime in the spring.
This is a 1200 foot gravel road I did in roughly a week. Two layers, first layer was 3 inch minus crush concrete and second layer capped with minus 5/8 basalt.
