The Heacock legacy comes from a long line of experienced carpenters. Since 1740, every generation has worked with wood. The current generations of this proud family linage are the foundations of Heacock Builders. Steeped in tradition and knowledgeable of the past, they are trained in the latest techniques to bring the best of the old and the new together on your next project. The client came to the architect to design a detached garage with a CrossFit gym on the second floor. Our Clients found a beautiful lot in Wyndmoor on Montgomery Ave.

Old world craftsmanship, attention to detail and a love for historical restorations are what drove Phil Heacock to found our company almost 40 years ago. Trained in the details of every aspect of construction, he has built the business to include additions, kitchens, bathrooms, new homes and commercial work. The tradition continues with sons Jesse and Matthew, partners in the business. Working with their father since they were young teenagers, they have incorporated design work and new building techniques into the business to make Heacock Builders the leading choice for Design Build projects in the region.

The rich history of Philadelphia and its suburbs means that our neighborhoods are filled with wonderful historic homes and businesses. Heacock Builders has renovated many of them in our four decades of business. Historic renovations come with unique challenges. We believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to the planning of all aspects of these projects is necessary to preserve the heritage of each building. Researching and using existing details allows us to maintain structure and flow, add amenities that don't look out of place and improve energy efficiency without sacrificing historical features.

Room additions have been increasing in popularity over the past several years as families look to expand the space in the home they love rather than moving. Additions give you more options, make you more comfortable and extend the time you spend in your home. Heacock Builders Design/Build approach is especially valuable for home additions. By combining design thought with remodeling we allow you to think about choices and positively impact the outcome - incorporating needs and wants with specifics on how things will look and how much they will cost.
