The company has been family owned and operated since it began in 1967 as Dalton R. Gorden Rubbish Removal Service. Dalton started the company with one truck and a lot of elbow grease. The name was changed to Gorden Rubbish Removal, Inc. In 1997, when Mike Gorden officially took over the family business from Dalton, his father, and began to modernize it and expand the services offered. The Gordens and many of the team members are long time residents of this community, so our customers are much more than just that - they're our neighbors, too.

Below are the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions regarding our policies and services. We also offer a six month prepaid cycle for which we give a 4% discount. Senior Citizen rates are also available upon request for customers 70 years of age and over. What time should my trash be ready for pick-up? Please have your trash curbside by 7 a.m., and then we'll take it from there. Pick-up will generally occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., but that could vary due to inclement weather, road construction and other factors outside our control.
