The owner of Nixxit, Sarah, grew up in Dublin and has been rooted in the Bay Area her entire life.
We cannot accept any toxic or hazardous items such as paints, oils, pesticides, household batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, household cleaners, medicines, ammunition, fireworks, any items containing asbestos or any other harmful material. There are several Hazardous Waste Facilities located throughout the Bay Area and in most cases, you can dispose of your items for free if you are a resident. The Nixxit folks were easy to deal with, very professional and dependable. I did quite a bit of research before doing business with them and their prices were in line with other less customer-friendly companies (perhaps even a tad lower.) The guys who moved my furniture climbed up and down 3 flights of stairs and kept a smile and a sense of humor as they worked. I am grateful to Nexxit for their responsiveness and for their focus on connecting furniture to people who can use it. I highly recommend them!

Nixxit was amazing! Super nice customer service, on time, organized, affordable and the best part - nothing goes to the landfill. I couldn’t recommend them high enough! So impressed with this company, can’t wait to see it grow

Owner Sarah was super helpful in describing their services and how they go out of their way to rehome items that can be enjoyed by another family. That mission orientation is very appealing — our initial goal was to donate all of our items, but charitable services no longer provide pick up services.
Bryce and Luis were so friendly and efficient. Bruce even offered to sweep up my garage after they had loaded all the furniture into the truck.
I called several services that offer to pick up items and donate what they can. None of them were as user-friendly and easy to work with as Nixxit!

We’ve used Nixxit twice. The crews are friendly and they work hard and quickly. They pack the trucks as full as humanly possible. They are very careful to cause no damage of any kind to your home when moving items out. They negotiate stairs and tight corners with ease. It is a joy to watch them work. Bryce and his crew are fabulous!

Once again Nixxit came through for us. We are doing a kitchen remodel and they came in a took out the old counters in time for the new ones to be installed. Once again it was easy to schedule, they show up when they say and gave me a fair price. The customer service and communication is always the best. If you have a need for this type of service they are the best!!!
Would highly recommend Nixxit Junk! Their communication was phenomenal and they reached out when they said they would. I got a confirmation email/text when I made the appointment, a day-of call to confirm when they were coming, and clear communication about the process and pricing. They were so friendly, efficient, and helpful! It was great to hear about their donation process and we love supporting a local small business. We will definitely use them again if we have any other bulk items we need removing!
