After confirming your consultation appointment, our designers arrive promptly at your home. Our professional designers help you map your goals, budget, project timing and dcor style for your window treatments, whether it is custom drapes, blinds, shades or shutters. With an expert ear, our designers listen to and further inspire your vision for your new home or refurbished space.
Wood shades are also called woven wood shades because of the manner in which they are manufactured. They are a solution to your window shading and are available in many colors, have different operating options, are a sustainable and energy-efficient covering product and add a beautiful glow to your windows when they are closed and the sun is shining behind them. Any interior designer will tell you that wood accents add natural warmth to any room and make it very inviting. For this reason, many homeowners and designers are leaning to bamboo and woven wood shades for texture.
All of our products are made by hand, locally in our workroom. All of Sunshine's draperies, valances, swags, cornices and more are made in our 25,000 square foot building in Maryland Heights. We employee the industry's best seamstresses with each having worked for us from 10 to 35+ years. Having our own workroom is so important as it allows for great communication between all areas: decorators, sales support, workroom employees and installers. Custom work requires a very hands on approach and this is critical to assure that everything we produce is done to the highest level possible.
