Design Origins

One of the most rewarding aspects of Carolyn's work has been her relationships with builders and their clients. Carolyn works closely with the builders' clients in developing concepts, ideas and materials for residences and businesses. She guides the client through the decision making process, often empowering them to be their own interior designer. As a part of the service, she produces a comprehensive Design and Finish Material Package with CAD drawings. The Design and Finish Packages become a useful tool for all involved (client, designer, general contractor and sub-contractors).

Our team is led by ASID award winning designer, Carolyn Pilastro. Carolyn has more than 30 years of interior design experience. She migrated from Chicago, Illinois to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1992 where she found herself inspired by various artisans and craftsman. Carolyn was mentored by Phoenix Home & Gardens "Master of the Southwest", Billi Springer. She brings a creative element to each project she influences. From the rustic southwest to contemporary, Carolyn enjoys working to create environments that are an expression of her client's personal lifestyle.
