We had two large area rugs. One of them is a Karastan that had the binding frayed on both sides. We had them restitched and it looks brand new. The colors are so much brighter. The pickup and delivery services were fantastic!! Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

We had three Persian rugs cleaned, and we were ecstatic with the outcome. A knowledgeable friend, familiar with the rugs, mistook one of them for being new due to its remarkable brightness. Pettyjohns just sprayed my new furniture with their protectant. Amy and Katie communicated exceptionally well before the service to make sure I knew what would happen and remembered the appointment. When Andrew arrived he took the time to educate me about the process, expectations, and future clean-up of spills. i appreciate that their protectant doesn't need to be reapplied. I just called back to have them come spray my rug! Fantastic service!!!

Writing a review for Pettyjohn’s has been on my to do list for a few weeks now, it was not something I wanted to get lazy about and to forget because they deserve some praise for the fantastic business they are, and I am so thankful for them! I called almost 20 or so businesses around the area to see who would be comfortable cleaning my mom’s really expensive yellow silk chaise her cat decided to pee on, every time I said the word “silk” and “pet stain,” I immediately got a run around response and a “we aren’t comfortable cleaning silk.”
After calling the 20th upholstery and carpet cleaning business, I actually got some advice from one business owner who actually recommended Pettyjohn’s to me! He said “if they can’t clean your silk chaise, I don’t know anyone else who can,” he said he had been in the business for 15+ years and highly recommends them. I called Pettyjohn’s right away, and without any hesitation, and an email exchange with photos of it, they said they would gladly clean my mom’s chaise. I can’t tell you how relieved I was. I dropped off the chaise a week later and in less than 3 days, it was ready for pick up, stain free!!!! Not only did they do a terrific job at cleaning the chaise, they also offered to deliver it for a small, very reasonable fee after I told them it was a huge task for me to come and pick it up, since I had to borrow a friends truck who lived 40 min away. I really can’t thank you all enough, from the efficient, friendly ladies at the front desk, to the brilliant upholstery cleaner, and the very polite and strong men who delivered the chaise! Thank you all so much again, what a terrific business you are!
