The Atlanta area is prone to hail storms. Hail damage can occur from even penny-sized hail, causing damage to shingles, flashing, trim and other roof components. Even though there are no obvious leaks, those dings and dents can significantly shorten the life of a roof and harm the property's long-term value. Because many insurance companies place a time limit on how long after a storm your hail damage claim will be honored, it's important to call Archer Restoration as soon as possible after a hailstorm to assess the damage.

Water Extraction in Atlanta, Kennesaw, Acworth, water removal in Marietta, Decatur, Roswell, Alpharetta, North Georgia and metro-Atlanta! After a flood or other catastrophic inundation, water extraction should not wait. The longer you delay the removal of standing or soaked-in water from your home or workplace, the greater the potential for a health risk to develop - mold spores begin to colonize wet or damp organic material like carpet, wood and drywall within 24 hours. Also, waiting too long might be interpreted by your insurance company as owner neglect, causing additional headaches when it's time to pay the bill.

Asbestos is a carcinogen that can reside in building materials, such as flooring, insulation or drywall. For many years, Asbestos was commonly used in construction materials before scientists and doctors discovered its harmful effects on people. During the renovation procedure, asbestos fibers are released into the air and when breathed into the lungs, can cause cancer or other lung diseases. We are RRP Certified and licensed by the Georgia Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an Asbestos removal contractor.

Our hot water heater blew a hole in it. Saw that Archer was a local company and thought I would use them rather than the national companies. Ratings are generally good. My experience, not so much. On the plus side, They came out within a couple of hours. They communicated well throughout the cleanup & subsequent trips. On the unacceptable side. * They brought 2 dehumidifiers, neither of which worked, Charged me and refused to remove it from the bill. * They charged for "content manipulation" which most of which my sons and I did for them. * Removed bath cabinets that were damaged, but had to borrow a phillips head bit from me to take the screws out because they couldn't find one on their truck. * Charged me for "Anti Microbial Agent & Application" that if it was done, was done in the 5 minutes that I was not present during their visits. * When they did bring working dehumidifiers, placed the drain hose in a P-trap that ran water out onto the floor. * When removing the drywall, did not use a straight edge, messy cuts and additional work required to patch the drywall. * Charged me for a lot of time for water extraction that, in reality took them about 15 minutes (it took them longer to get the hose from the truck than the extraction itself since they were removing carpet and pad that had soaked up the water). * Travis Bridges clearly believes that just because they estimate a job, they can charge you whether they did the work or not. * Travis, when questioned about this, essentially threatened to re-estimate it and charge more after negotiations with the insurance provider resulted in a lower "bill". This lack of integrity, fraudulent billing and "game playing" is not what I expect and I would caution anyone to be careful when dealing with Archer.

I had storm damage from Hurricane Irma and reached out to Archer Restoration to take a look and suggest what could be done about it. When they first came to the house they were courteous, professional, and explained exactly what needed to be done.

I had a kitchen sink leak that turned out to be a serious problem. The plumber advised me to get help quickly so I called Archer and they answered my call and got Corey here to assess the damage and start the drying process. Corey was great and all the employees were prompt, courteous, and communicated what was going on and what was to be expected. They also worked directly with my homeowners insurance company and adjuster which I really appreciated. They will now be the general contractor for my kitchen repair and I am very happy to trust them with this project. They do things right the first time. Thanks Archer!
