I'm Gary Campbell - principal of Campbell Natural Landscape Design. My long-time interest in nature and ecology led me to leave a successful mechanical engineering design and management career to pursue a dream. I wanted to help homeowners create landscapes that provide environmentally friendly elements without compromising their human needs. I earned a B.S. degree in Horticulture from Temple University in a program allied with Landscape Architecture that emphasized an environmental based approach to improving the quality of our urban, suburban and rural communities.
My overriding goal is to help you achieve your goals. My approaches to design and consulting process are tailored toward that end. My design philosophies have the added benefits of residential landscapes with increased ecological health. I listen very carefully to what you have to say, and ask questions you may not have thought of. Whether or not you have specific ideas, I'll work to uncover and understand your underlying needs to achieve your dreams and desires. I seek to create landscape spaces and plantings that look and feel as if they were meant to be, not forced or contrived.
