Joseph Racicot Sr. founded Fairway Painting and Sandblasting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1968 and relocated the business to La Crosse, Wisconsin in 1971. Joe's daughter Carrie and son-in-law Rob Johnson took over the business when he retired in 1994. Under Carrie and Rob's ownership, Fairway's size grew immensely as the company became known throughout the Midwest for its tremendous capabilities - both at the shop facility and with their road crews. The continuous reinvestment into the business allowed Fairway to establish itself as a best-in-class coating contractor, servicing a diverse client base across the country.
Painting for industrial, government, and OEM applications is both an art and a science. Far more than just applying a coat and calling it day, these kinds of jobs require the sort of knowledge and experience that only a company like Fairway can offer. A key part of this is the selection of a wet paint or powder for maximum durability, along with proper quality control throughout the entire process. Fairway offers a skilled and experienced team, both on the road and in their facility in Holmen, Wisconsin, to handle all of your powder coating, painting, and sandblasting needs.
From enormous vehicular bridges to window frames and even the display racks in your favorite grocery store, powder coated surfaces are almost everywhere you look. Powder coating is good for the environment, durable, and economical. Simply put, powder coating is a method of applying a protective and decorative finish to almost any sort of metal. Finely ground particles of pigment and resin are applied to a surface using an electrostatic process. Powder coating is also versatile and can also be applied in a variety of different ways, with finishes from flat to high gloss, and even a wrinkled texture.
