Joshua Harris, a 2004 graduate of Stockbridge School of Agriculture UMass Amherst set out on his own full time in 2005 to create a full service landscape design and installation firm Harris & Company Landscaping. Harris & Co specializes in the design and installation of fine landscapes in the Southern New England Region. In 2008, low voltage landscape lighting was added to their growing list of services and by 2015 accounted for over 30% of sales. After spending so many years repairing poorly designed and installed systems, and designing new systems for hundreds of clients, it was clear that landscape lighting was becoming a huge part of the landscape industry.
