Super Excavators, Inc. began back in 1950 when Ray Schraufnagel and Roy Lemke started a plumbing business together. As the Milwaukee Metropolitan area grew, so did Super Excavators. Growing into larger, tougher, deeper open cut utility projects as cities began to expand. Over the years Super had grown a very good reputation for our quality of work. In the 1970's and 1980's Super Excavators performed small tunnels by hand mining or even small TBM's. Bob Schraufnagel took over the business from Ray and continued to build the business expanding beyond the Wisconsin borders all the way to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
