In July of 2014 I had water damage to my hardwood floors the restoration company Paul Davis contracted Old World Floors to do the repairs to the hardwood floors. First, Old World Floors delivered the wrong size wood floors to my house which caused delay in the project getting done. The correct size wood was finally delivered and sat in the house for about a week to get accumulated to the house temperature. Work on the floors finally began but what would happen after that is very aggravating. Many polyurethane drops throughout the floors, nail heads showing, gaps in between the boards, raised boards, loose boards, squeaking floors, drum circles, missed spots where polyurethane should have been applied, and other flaws. The insurance company had a hardwood floor inspector to come out and inspected the floors. He submitted his findings to USAA which are the same as I listed above. I have had several companies to look at the floors to correct them, all have stated that they did not want to come behind Old World Floors. If you are thinking of using Old World Floors and you want to take a look at their work inbox me and I will let you see it live and first hand. I have contacted the BBB only to have someone from Old World Floors to write lies and he has never set foot in my house.
